Quality assurance
We operate in strict accordance with the requirements of regulatory and supervisory authorities and applicable legal standards established for activities related to the distribution of pharmaceutical products.
In addition to external audits by state control bodies and representatives of pharmaceutical manufacturers, Unikmed Baltija implements internal controlling measures and requests audits from external service providers to maintain and continuously improve the performance of the company, as well as to comply with the requirements of the Good Distribution practice (GDP).
Quality management system
The company has created a quality management system which is documented in standard instructions and covers all types of activities related to the distribution of medicines. The public quality management system must be maintained, and its effectiveness must be constantly improved in accordance with the requirements of the Good Distribution practice guidelines.
License and GDP certificate
Unikmed Baltija has a special permission (license) No. L00109 for the wholesale distribution of medicines for human use that allows it to provide services for the purchase, storage, delivery and export of medicines; it also owns a GDP certificate No. ZVA/LV/2021/001D of the distributor of medicines for human use.
